Darryl de Cunha, way of therapy

Directors:

Dr. Darryl de Cunha, is qualified in healthcare and massage since 1990 and specialises in Hawaiian Hot Stone Lomi massage. He studied the ancient Hawaiian Temple Bodywork in Maui and the Big Island Hawaii with Tom Cochran and Donna Jason. His particular interests are the application of ancient preventative healing methods, optics, vision and perception.
Before establishing Way of Therapy, he carried out research into liver transplant surgery, facial reconstruction and vocal fold repair at Guy’s Hospital, London and colour perception, binocular vision and corneal topography at City University, London. Darryl has lectured in Computer Engineering and Physics and has given presentations on Medical Imaging around the world. He also has over 10 years experience in
C++ programming for Telemedicine applications.
Darryl holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Astrophysics from Queen Mary College, London University and a PhD in Visual Science from City University, London. He has published over 30 research papers in refereed scientific journals.

 

Jane Hedgecock, way of therapy

 

Jane Hedgecock has twenty years' experience of working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) in a wide range of environments including Mainstream Schools, Special Schools and Special Units.
For twelve years Jane worked as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in a school for children with moderate learning difficulties, including children with ASDs, using the concepts of TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autism and related Communication handicapped Children) and The Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), to promote the students' functional communication skills and to create environments to maximise their learning potentials.
Jane is currently helping the Oasis Trust to establish the Oasis School for children with Autism, Pakistan's first school dedicated to children with Autism.

Jane holds a B.A. in English and Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Communication Studies and M.Sc. in Systemic Psychotherapy.

Louise
Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Consultant :

Louise Kleu. Louise is a passionate Lomi Lomi Nui teacher who has enjoyed a decade of learning and teaching Lomi Lomi around the world. Louise is originally from South Africa, now settled in Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland to share the gift of Hawaiian Healing Arts.This work is a way of life for Louise and it is her intention to bring a sense of aloha to her trainings as she shares this wonderful work with others.

Phoebe
Physiotherapy:

Phoebe Machin. Phoebe graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) from Sydney University in 1995.  She has over 15 years of experience of physiotherapy practice. 
Prior to this degree she gained an Associate Diploma of Health Science (Sport and Exercise) at New England University which has given her a greater focus in the sports injury field of practice.
